CFC Industriebeteiligungen AG acquires NewTal Elektronik und Systeme GmbH – CFC Industriebeteiligungen acquires NewTal Elektronik und Systeme GmbH – Expansion of the business unit 'Electronic Manufacturing Services – EMS' Dortmund, December 22, 2010 CFC Industriebeteiligungen AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Dortmund, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of NewTal Elektronik und Systeme GmbH. NewTal has been owned by the previous managing partners, who acquired the company through an MBO in 2002. The purchase price of the transaction will not be disclosed. The transaction is subject to closing conditions in favour of CFC, which are expected to be fulfilled in January 2011. The company, which is headquartered in Neu-Ulm, has established itself as a reliable partner for its customers in Southern Germany. With its 65 employees, NewTal generates sales of roughly EUR 10 million in the fiscal year 2010. Similar to Letron electronic GmbH, a company already owned by CFC, NewTal Elektronik und Systeme GmbH develops, manufactures, and sells electronic components and systems. The combination of the homogenous product and service portfolios and the complementary distribution structures will result in extensive synergies and growth potential for both companies.
