Dortmund, 22 August, 2011 On August 21st 2011, the supervisory board of CFC Industriebeteiligungen AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Dortmund, decided with immediate effect that Marcus Linnepe will as of now be the sole executive board member of the company. Werner Neubauer, whose core responsibility used to be the electronics business, leaves the company due to different understandings on further acquisitions and divestments as well as the strategic alignment of this business segment. CFC anticipates that current economic challenges will lead to increasing insecurity on global markets in the next months. In order to realise the resulting opportunities by means of acquiring additional attractive companies, the executive board plans the generation of additional liquidity, which on a short- to medium-term perspective will be generated by divesting parts of the portfolio.
