Subject:Information about the appointment of a President of the Management Boardof Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.

Legal basis: § 5point 5) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of March 29, 2018on Current and Periodic Information Published by Issuers of Securitiesand Conditions for Regarding Information Required by the Law of aNon-member State as Equivalent (Journal of Laws of 2018, Item 757).

Bank Handlowy wWarszawie S.A. ("the Bank") informed in the current report no. 18/2021that on May 26, 2021 the Supervisory Board of the Bank decided toappoint Ms. Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska as the President of theManagement Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. subject to PolishFinancial Supervision Authority`s consent for the appointment of Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska to the position of the President ofthe Management Board of the Bank and that the appointment will takeeffect on the day of obtaining the abovementioned consent of the PolishFinancial Supervision Authority.

Bank informs thaton October 8, 2021, the Financial Supervision Authority unanimouslyapproved the appointment of Ms. Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska as thePresident of the Management Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.,therefore Ms. Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska was appointed Presidentof the Management Board of the Bank on that day under internal divisionof powers in the Bank's Management Board.

Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska has more than 25 years´ experience inthe banking industry on 6 European markets and both Americas. Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska joined Citibank in July 1994 inEcuador as Relationship Manger in the Corporate Bank. During 1999-2003,she worked in the Dominican Republic as the Head of TransactionServices, Asset Based Finance and the small and medium enterprisesclient segment. Later, she moved to the United States for one year, towork in audit area overseeing corporate loans in Latin America. In 2004,Ms. Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska joined Bank Handlowy w WarszawieS.A. in Risk Management and in 2005 was appointed Senior Credit Officer.After three years, Elzbieta took the responsibility for the Central-EastRegion in Poland. In October 2009, she was appointed country Head forthe Commercial Bank and she held this position until 2013, when shemoved to Colombia. In Colombia Ms. Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska wasresponsible for running the Treasury and Trade Solutions business, whereshe successfully developed and executed a dynamic growth strategy. Aspart of the Senior Management Team of Colombia and the Latam Treasuryand Trade Solutions Executive Committee, Ms. ElżbietaŚwiatopełk-Czetwertyńska was involved in shaping the strategy of thefranchise and the TTS business in the Region. In November 1, 2015, Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska was appointed Citi Country Officer andCorporate Investment Banking Head for Ecuador. In March 2019 shereturned to Europe as Citi Country Officer for Switzerland, Monaco andLiechtenstein.

Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska graduated from University of Reading,England, U.K. as Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Food Economics &Marketing. She was Awarded First Class Honors Degree.

Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska does not perform any business activityoutside the Bank, and therefore she does not perform any activitycompetitive to Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A., she does not participatein a competitive company as a partner in a civil company, partnership,or joint stock company, neither does she participate in a competitivelegal person as a member of its governing body.

Ms.Elżbieta Światopełk-Czetwertyńska is not listed in the Register ofInsolvent Debtors kept on the basis of the Act of August 20, 1997 on theNational Court Register.
