Subject:Information about the appointment of Vice President of the ManagementBoard of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.

Legalbasis:§ 5 point 5) of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance dated March 29,2018 on current and periodic information published by issuers ofsecurities and the conditions for regarding as equivalent theinformation required by the law of a non-member state (Official Journalof 2018, item 757).

BankHandlowy w Warszawie S.A. ("the Bank") announces that on September 28,2023, the Supervisory Board of the Bank decided to appoint Ms. BarbaraSobala to the Management Board of the Bank with the position of the VicePresident of the Management Board for next three-year term of office.The term of office begins on January 1, 2024. As part of the internaldivision of powers in the Management Board, Ms. Barbara Sobala will be aVice President of the Bank's Management Board responsible forsignificant risks management.

Ms.Barbara Sobala has an extensive experience in banking and especially inrisk management. She joined the Bank in 2005. From 2012 she was the Headof Risk for the Institutional and Corporate Bank. She is also a memberof the Risk and Capital Management Committee. Previously in the years2005-2012 as Head of IRM she was responsible for, inter alia, managingthe troubled loan portfolio. In the years 1992-2005 Ms. Barbara Sobalaworked for Bank BPH as Restructuring Department Head and member of theBank's Credit Committee.

Ms.Barbara Sobala has university degree, and she was graduated from Academyof Economics in Cracow.

Ms.Barbara Sobala does not perform any business activity outside the Bank,and therefore she does not perform any activity competitive to the Bank,she does not participate in a competitive company as a partner in acivil company, partnership, or joint stock company, neither does sheparticipate in a competitive legal person as a member of its governingbody.

Ms.Barbara Sobala is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kepton the basis of the Act of August 20, 1997 on the National CourtRegister.
