Subject:Impairmentloss reducing goodwill in the Consumer Banking segment

Legal basis:Art.17 (1) of the Regulation(EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16April 2014 on market abuse (MAR).

The Management Boardof Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. ("the Bank") informs that in theprocess of preparation of the consolidated financial statement for thefirst half of 2024, a goodwill impairment test was performedby the Bankas of June30th, 2024, which resulted in recognition of impairment loss reducinggoodwill related to the Consumer Bank segment by PLN 180 million. Thetotal amount of the impairment will have an impact on the Bank'sfinancial results in the second quarter of 2024.

This is a one-offevent, Bank's liquidity and capital ratios significantly exceedregulatory requirements.

The key factor whichtriggered goodwill impairment in Consumer Banking segment were risingoperating costs reflecting the impact of salary pressure.

At the same time,the Bank observes the continuation of positive business trends inInstitutional Banking segment.

Disclosure offinancial results for the first half of 2024 is scheduled for August30th, 2024.
