Subject:Announcementof force majeure in JSW

TheManagement Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A. ["Company", "JSW"]reports that on 11 April 2024 it adopted a resolution on the occurrenceof force majeure in JSW and the notification of the Company's businesspartners of its occurrence and the ensuing consequences for theobligations affected by the operation of force majeure. The decision inquestion is related to the occurrence of an endogenous fire at KWKBudryk on 5 April 2024.

As aresult of the analyses conducted, the impact of the event in 2024 hasbeen estimated at 400 thousand tons of reduction in the production levelat KWK Budryk.

TheCompany reports that as at the date of preparing this report, it is notpossible to specify the fullimpactof the incident on the future prospects of the Company and of the JSWGroup. In the event of material changes stemming from the analysesconducted, JSW will provide information in the form of separate currentreports.
