Delegation of two members of the Supervisory Board of KGHM Polska MiedźS.A. to independently carry out supervisory activities

The Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. ("the Company") announcesthat at its meeting on 11 August 2016, the Supervisory Board of KGHMPolska Miedź S.A. adopted resolutions on the delegation of two membersof the Supervisory Board of the Company: Dominik Hunek and MichałCzarnik, to independently carry out supervisory activities regarding theCompany with respect to the Company's investments outside of theRepublic of Poland.

The main goal of the actions undertaken by the Supervisory Board of theCompany is to support the Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. inits present work and to enhance oversight of the key internationalassets.

It was decided that the period of independent supervision will becarried out from 12 August 2016 to 30 October 2016.
