Obtaining the decisions on the permit to erect and use artificialislands, structures and devices in Polish maritime areas for projectsinvolving construction of offshore wind farms

The Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. ("PGE", the"Company") discloses that on August 9, 2023 the Company received thedecisions of the Minister of Infrastructure on granting of permits toerect and use artificial islands, structures and devices in Polishmaritime area (exclusive economic zone) (the "Decisions") identified as:

- area 43.E.1 for the construction of an offshore wind farm requested byPGE Baltica 4 sp. z o.o. PGE holds 55.04% of shares in PGE Baltica 4 sp.z o.o., and remaining 44.96% of shares is held by TAURON Polska EnergiaS.A. Capacity of the planned offshore wind farm which would beconstructed on the basis of the obtained permit amounts to approx. 1 GW.

- area 44.E.1 for the construction of an offshore wind farm requested byElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 9 sp. z o.o. PGE holds 100% of shares inElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 9 sp. z o.o. Capacity of the plannedoffshore wind farm which would be constructed on the basis of theobtained permit amounts to approx. 1 GW.

- area 60.E.3 for the construction of an offshore wind farm requested byElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 1 sp. z o.o. PGE holds 100% of shares inElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 1 sp. z o.o. Capacity of the plannedoffshore wind farm which would be constructed on the basis of theobtained permit amounts to approx. 1.2 GW.

- area 60.E.4 for the construction of an offshore wind farm requested byElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 5 sp. z o.o. PGE holds 66.19% of shares inElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 5 sp. z o.o., and remaining 33.81% ofshares is held by ENEA S.A. Capacity of the planned offshore wind farmwhich would be constructed on the basis of the obtained permit amountsto approx. 0.56 GW.

- area 45.E.1 for the construction of an offshore wind farm requested byElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 2 sp. z o.o. PGE holds 50% of shares inElektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica 2 sp. z o.o, and remaining 50% of shares isheld by _#216;rsted. Capacity of the planned offshore wind farm which wouldbe constructed on the basis of the obtained permit amounts to approx.0.2 GW.

Total potential capacity of the above mentioned projected wind farmswill amount to approx. 3.9 GW.

The Decisions are not final. Within 14 days from the delivery of theDecisions, the parties of the proceeding are entitled to send request tothe Minister of Infrastructure for the re-examination of the case. TheCompany's intention is to disclose through the current reports only theoccurrence of circumstances which would prevent obtaining the finalityfor the Decisions.
