bmp AG: termination of the parallel fund bmp Venture Tech GmbH
Berlin, 22.06.2007
The bmp AG has concluded today extensive contracts with the KFW
Bankengruppe for the termination of the parallel fund bmp Venture Tech GmbH
started in 1998. Within these contracts, the bmp AG adopts the remaining
portfolio of the bmp Venture Tech GmbH as well as the major part of the
KFW's claims against the company. In the remaining portfolio, there are
shares of the companies Revotar AG, Newtron AG, Tembit GmbH, European
Telecommunications Holding E.T.H. AG, and Noxxon AG.
For the bmp group, this transaction has resulted in total in income
amounting to around 3.6 m EUR. Furthermore, the group's liabilities have
been reduced by around 5 m EUR, which will increase the bmp group's equity
ratio to around 90 % as per 30.06.2007. For the transaction, the bmp AG is
spending liquid assets amounting to around 0.8 m EUR.
