Subject: Commencement of negotiations regarding acquisition of wind farms

The Management Board of TAURON Polska Energia S.A. ("Issuer") herebyannounces that on October 2, 2018 they received an invitation tocommence negotiations ("Negotiations") regarding the Issuer'sacquisition of the wind farms owned by in.ventus group and located inthe northern Poland ("Transaction").

The total installed capacity of the wind farms referred to above amountsto approximately 200 MW.

The Transaction may be executed by way of the Issuer's acquisition ofGerman and Polish partnerships operating the farms ("ProjectCompanies"). In such case, the Issuer will assume all the rights andobligations of the existing partners of the Project Companies and at thesame time acquire bank's receivables against the Project Companies. TheIssuer also allows the Transaction to be carried out through theacquisition of assets of the Polish project companies.

The purpose of the Negotiations will be to determine the possibilities,terms and conditions and financial parameters of the Transaction.Conclusion of the Transaction will depend on the satisfactory results ofthe Negotiations for all parties involved.

The execution of legally binding documentation regarding the Transactionor termination of the Negotiations regarding the Transaction otherwiseshall be notified by the Issuer in a separate current report.
