According to our Public Disclosure dated 7 April 2023, an agreement had been signed regarding installation of 350 MW Kumasi combined natural gas power plant and USD based guaranteed sales of the electricity produced for 20 years.

Also, according to our Public Disclosure dated August 15, 2025, the first fire was given in the gas turbine of the first phase (179 MW) of the Kumasi natural gas power plant.

As of December 25, 2025, the first phase of the power plant has commenced partial commercial production. The plant is planned to be commissioned in January 2026 as a simple cycle plant with installed capacity of 130 MW, and in the first quarter of 2026 as a combined cycle plant with an installed capacity of 179 MW.

Furter developments regarding second phase of the power plant (171 MW) will be shared with the public in a timely manner.
