In 2023, we renewed our materiality analysis with a double materiality approach. We rated our sustainability priorities as high and very high based on financial, environmental, and social impact perspectives. Our prioritization analysis was conducted through a materiality survey and stakeholder meeting that included all our operational countries. We finalized it by incorporating the perspectives of our CEO and Board Members. Detailed information on our prioritization analysis was provided in our 2023 Integrated Report. During the 2024 reporting period, we reviewed our priority topics based on sectoral and mega trends, global risks and opportunities, and our company’s updated strategic perspective on priority topics. We are also transforming our risk management approach in accordance with TSRS S1 and S2 requirements. Moving beyond traditional risk assessment models, we strategically address risks and opportunities arising from sustainability and climate change, thereby strengthening our business continuity, long-term value creation, and our ability to meet stakeholder expectations. In this context, we work closely with our risk teams across all operations to identify risks, determine their financial, environmental, and social impacts, and manage them. Furthermore, in line with TSRS expectations, we plan to include detailed analyses of climate change risks in our TSRS-focused report.

To implement and monitor sustainability policies within our company, we have two different levels of sustainability committees: one reporting to the Board of Directors and the other at the CEO level as the Global Sustainability Committee. The Global Sustainability Committee, led by our CEO, monitors the performance of sustainability initiatives across all countries. Since 2010, our sustainability approach and performance have been shared annually through sustainability reports aligned with GRI Standards. As of 2021, we have also started reporting in line with the WEF Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics, led by the International Business Council (IBC) of the World Economic Forum. In 2022, we prepared our first integrated report following the Value Reporting Foundation’s Integrated Reporting Framework. In 2023, we aligned with IFRS S1 – General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and the TFRS S1 standards introduced specifically for Türkiye at the end of the year. For our 2024 Integrated Annual Report, we adhered to globally and locally recognized sustainability standards while ensuring alignment with our corporate strategy. We also incorporated TSRS 1 and TSRS 2, the IFRS S1 and S2-based Türkiye Sustainability Reporting Standards.
