Turkish Employers Association of Metal Industries (MESS) of which our Company is a member, notified our Company that the Collective Labour Agreement was signed between MESS and Turkish Metal Union to be effective between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2025 period.

In summary of the agreement,

  • For employees whose hourly rates are below 65 TL for the first 6 months, their hourly rates will be adjusted to 65 TL; thereafter, all employees will receive a relative increase of 32%, and an additional fixed increase of 30 TL/hour will be applied. Following this, for each full year of seniority, a one-time seniority increase of 2 TL/hour, not exceeding 30 TL/hour, will be applied to hourly rates.
  • For the second 6 months, effective from March 1, 2024, a 30% increase will be applied. If the CPI exceeds 30% during the period from September 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, the difference will be added to the wage increase rate.
  • For the third 6 months, a salary increase will be made at the rate of CPI + 3 points, and for the fourth 6 months, the salary increase will be based on the CPI rate.
  • All social benefits will see an increase of 140% for the first year and an annual CPI-based increase for the second year.
