The Competition Authority authorized the acquisition of Akköprü HPP by Aydem Renewables.

The Competition Authority announced that it allowed the privatization of Akköprü Hydroelectric Power Plant belonging to Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. As stated in our announcement dated September 23, 2021, our Company submitted the highest bid of 605 million liras to operate Akköprü HPP for 49 years in the tender held by the Privatization Administration in September 2021.

The transfer process will be concluded following the approval of the Presidency, after completing necessary procedures with the Privatization Administration. With the transfer of Akköprü HPP to our portfolio, the installed power of our Company will increase by 11% from 1,020 MW to 1,135 MW .
