Our Company's 100% subsidiary İzmir Doğu Star Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. (the "Subsidiary") has been awarded in the tender, in which there were totally 2 participants including itself, regarding the establishment of facility suitable for production of ATY raw materials and electricity from solar energy  from domestic and industrial wastes and furniture of plant origin such as parks,  gardens, branches, knots, etc. in a areas of 7,535 m   located  within the borders of Işıklar Neighborhood of Bornova 2 District of İzmir Province, which is owned by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and to allow the use of the activity area for the operation of this established facility for 20 years


The letter dated 27.07.2024 and numbered E-19752312-934.02-2065458 from the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality's Climate Change and Zero Waste Department was delivered to our company on 01.08.2024 (today). Our Subsidiary was the sole winner of the tender dated 11.07.2024 with a bid price of 3,775,000 TL + VAT.


With the winning of the tender, additional investment requirements have arisen such as the execution of construction and feasibility studies, personnel organisation, facility security and applications to be made and obtaining the necessary EIA decisions and permits.  With these requirements, the total investment cost is estimated to be approximately USD 3 million, and it is planned to produce 50,972 tonnes of ATY per year in the facility to be established in a way that it can be sold to the market or used as raw material by our company.


When considered as an indicator of vertical growth, which is one of our strategy and sustainable growth targets, it is envisaged that this investment, which will be realised, will support our Company's other revenues other than electricity generation revenues, thus positively affecting our financial expectations.


Following the signing of the contract for this tender within 15 days following the decision notified to our company today and the preparation of the final guarantee, this issue will be announced to our investors with a separate material event disclosure.


The English version of this public disclosure has been attached therein. In contradiction between the Turkish and English versions of this public disclosure, the Turkish version shall prevail.
