Burak Sevilengül has been appointed to the Eczacıbaşı Group CEO position effective as of February 17, 2025.
Burak Sevilengül initiated his professional career in 1994 and held managerial positions at various companies. Between 2006 and 2016, he served at Turkcell as Head of Individual Customers Division, Executive Vice President responsible for the Consumer Business Unit, and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Digital Services. From 2016 to 2023, he worked as Vice President of Commercial Operations and CEO of International Operations at e&(Etisalat), a global technology holding based in the United Arab Emirates. During this time, he led the group's initiatives in operational transformation, digitalization, growth in new business areas, mergers, and acquisitions.
In 2023, he founded and managed EBS Consulting, a company providing strategic consultancy to the founders, senior management, and boards of directors of multinational companies. In addition to his executive roles, Sevilengül served on the boards of various private and publicly traded companies operating in the fields of technology, financial services, and telecommunications.
Burak Sevilengül, received his undergraduate degree from the Business Administration Department of Middle East Technical University in 1994 and his MBA degree from the the University of Georgia in 1999.
