The Reason For Applying A Lower Dividend Withholding Rate Than The Current Rate In Calculating Net Amount
|
All of the previous years' taxable earnings of İsdemir, which is included in Erdemir's profit to be distributed, are subject to 19.8% income tax withholding in accordance with the Income Tax Law provisional Article 61. In the distribution of these earnings by Erdemir to the shareholders, there is no tax deduction related to profit distribution pursuant to provisional Article 62 of the Income Tax Law.

Information Regarding How To Calculate That Lower Dividend Witholding Rate Than The Current Rate
|
According to the decision taken in the General Assembly; It has been decided to distribute a total of TRY 6.475.000.000, of which TRY 83.575.406 will be covered from the withholding earnings pursuant to the Provisional Article 61 of the Income Tax Law.
(a) TRY 83.575.406 / 3.500.000.000 = TRY 0,0238787 (without withholding)
(b) TRY 6.391.424.594 / 3.500.000.000 = TRY 1,8261213 (15% withholding tax on earnings per share=TRY 1,5522031)

Dividend distribution announced in our public disclosures dated 11 February 2021 and 17 February 2021 was approved by General Assembly on 17 March 2021. The dividend distribution will start on 24 March 2021 and the dividend will be deposit into our public shareholders' accounts at T+2 value date.
In contradiction between the Turkish and English versions of this public disclosure, the Turkish version shall prevail.
