With the decision of our Company's Board of Directors dated 27.08.2024, it has been decided that the TRY 300,000,000 capital of our 99% subsidiary Kocaer Enerji will be increased in cash by TRY 300,000,000 to TRY 600,000,000, that our company will participate in the capital increase with TRY 297,000,000 in line with its shareholding and that the necessary applications will be initiated.

Kocaer Energy aims to expand its activities in the field of renewable energy, which is one of our Company's strategic priorities. The 24 MW power plant investment, which is the 1st phase of the Geothermal Power Plant (GPP) investment in Kocaer Enerji's license area in Aydın Kuyucak, is currently ongoing. Following this investment, with the energy to be obtained, together with Kocaer Çelik's rooftop solar power plants, we aim to meet all of our electricity needs, reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and sell a significant part of the energy produced.

Following the 1st phase of the investment, which is planned to be operative in the first quarter of 2026, our geothermal energy investments are planned to continue with the second and third phases.
