The announcement regarding the legal situation for the EIA decision of our company has been made on public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on May 3, 2017, which has also been published on the official web page of Izmir Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization. The positive EIA decision of Ovacık Gold Mine Project, located in Bergama, Izmir, was given by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on the basis of Act No. 2009/7. Our company was notified about the annulment case of the positive EIA decision by Izmir 6th Administrative Court regarding with 2017/1317 E. on October 3, 2017 In this respect, the Court issued a stay order on July 3, 2018, and it has been notified to our company on July 23, 2018. There is no any other administrative notice which has been notified to our company. We are working on necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure that the legal situation of our company will not affect our productivity, and the developments will be shared with the public Respectfully announced to the public. In contradiction between the Turkish and English versions of this public disclosure, the Turkish version shall prevail.
