Upon the recent increase in imports of "synthetic staple fibers of polyester (polyester fiber)" registered under the 5503.20.00.00.00 Customs Tariff Statistics Positions, it has been decided to open a safeguard investigation by "the Board for the Evaluation of Safeguard Measures" affiliated to Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade. The decision in question was published in the Official Gazette dated 30 May 2020.
