In order to rectify the malfunction in the Hydrocracker Unit of the Fuel Oil Conversion Unit of the Izmit refinery, according to the current maintenance plan, it has been decided to suspend production for 4 weeks in the Hydrocracker Unit (August 19 – September 15) and in the Coker Unit, after the first two weeks of the suspension, for optimization purposes.

During the suspension of production, diesel production in the Izmit refinery will continue by using all other unitsat full capacity, and a significant impact on the final sales volume is not expected as it is planned to compensate for the decrease in production with imports.

Within this context, this interruption of production is not expected to have a significant impact on the Forward Looking Expectations for 2022, which was announced to the public on August 15, 2022. On the other hand, an EBITDA loss of approximately 110 million USD may come to the fore due to the decrease in production.
