The Danish group DKA Consult ApS has agreed with RSI Societas GmbH, company
of the eponym and principal shareholder Jörn Reinecke, to take over his
shares in Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG. This has been announced today by
RPSE.
For DKA Consult ApS this investment represents an important step in a
strategic partnership with RPSE, in which the group will act at the same
time both as investor and as customer for large solar power plants. The
sale was initiated by the Executive Board of RPSE due to the existing
faithful project cooperation.
'COLEXON, the operational subsidiary of Reinecke + Pohl Sun Energy AG, is a
project partner in some solar power plants. We are impressed by the
combination of know how in the engineering of solar power plants and of a
pragmatic and customer-oriented work approach', explains Lasse Lindblad,
owner of DKA Group. 'We think that the company has shown an impressive
turnaround this year and has set the grounds for a solid repositioning in
the market. The opportunity to invest seems very favourable at the moment.'
'We are proud to have found in DKA a long-term strategic investor, for whom
we will at the same time realise important solar power plants in future',
says Thorsten Preugschas, member of the Executive Board of RPSE. 'The
investment of DKA was only possible thanks to Jörn Reinecke’s readiness to
sell his shares. It enhances the further realisation of our strategy.'
Preugschas himself continues to hold approx. 3 % of the company’s shares.
Since the original emponyms and founders of RPSE, Jörn Reinecke and
Gerd-Jürgen Pohl, now are not invested anymore, the new major shareholder
intends to change the name of the stock-quoted company to COLEXON AG on the
next General Meeting. This would also accelerate the marketing strategy,
since the operational business is already carried out under the brand
COLEXON.
