- Solid business situation despite crisis in world economy

Hamburg, 12.03.2009: COLEXON Energy AG, one of the leading project
developers of large-scale roof-top photovoltaic plants closes the fiscal
year 2008 with a record result. The forecasted turnover of 110 million EUR
and EBIT of 6 to 8 million EUR were clearly exceeded. Despite the global
economy crises COLEXON can look back on the most successful year in company
history.

In the reporting period 2008 COLEXON achieved a revenue increase by 67
percent up to 143 million EUR. At the same time the sales volume 2008 of 56
MWp outperformed the results of 2007 (approx. 21 MWp). The most apparent
increase has been reached in EBIT result: in 2008 the EBIT multiplied
compared to the previous fiscal period and rose from 216 kEUR to 12.15
million EUR.

In the project sector COLEXON realized photovoltaic plants with an overall
performance of 13 MWp. For example the company constructed the world
largest roof-top photovoltaic plant built with First Solar modules (4.64
MWp). In the trade sector the business volume could also be increased
considerably. In total solar modules with an overall performance of 32 MW
could be sold.

The international revenue rose to 6.22 million EUR and was mostly generated
in the USA, Spain and South Korea. COLEXON advanced its
internationalization strategy by founding subsidiaries in France and the
Czech Republic and thus created an advantageous position in new growth
markets.

COLEXON Energy AG adheres to its long-term growth strategy and expects a
continuation of the positive business development in the current fiscal
year. With the existing order backlog, secured project financing and
growing interest of investors for high-yield thin-film photovoltaic plants
COLEXON is in a solid financial position and will be able to further
augment its sales volume in 2009.

The detailed numbers will be presented on March 26, 2009 with the annual
report.
