Hamburg, August 27, 2009: Today, COLEXON Energy AG, Hamburg (ISIN:
DE0005250708) published its half-year report 2009.
With a revenue of 51.9 million EUR in the first six months COLEXON Energy
AG looks back at a solid first half-year (H1 2008: 56.6 million EUR). In
the same period, EBIT decreased to 1.73 million EUR (H1 2008: 2.96 million
EUR). This corresponds to an EBIT margin of 3.3 percent (H1 2008: 5.2
percent). As a result of to a longer processing time for requesting
financings as well as a perceptible reluctance of investors in the project
business, these figures are below the figures from the same period of last
year.
In comparison to the first quarter and in spite of a difficult time for the
solar industry COLEXON has increased its revenue in the second quarter by
just about 50 percent. In the same period the result before taxes and
interest (EBIT) went up by about 37 percent, presenting COLEXON in the lead
by sector performance.
