Arni Ekholm, who has acted as CEO of Relais Group Plc since 2015, has decided to
retire on March 31, 2026 in accordance with the terms of his CEO agreement.
The Board of Directors has initiated the search process for a new CEO. Arni
Ekholm will support the new CEO during the transition period before his
retirement.
“During my almost 10 years at the helm of Relais Group, the company has grown
from a small local player in Finland to a true European growth platform in the
vehicle aftermarket. Back in 2015 our turnover was roughly 50 million euros, and
we had little over 100 employees. Now, when the newly announced acquisitions are
closed, we will become a group of companies employing over 1,600 professionals
in nine countries, well on the way to pass the 400 million euros turnover bar.
As the current 5-year strategy period is coming to its end this year, I feel it
is the right time to start searching for a new captain for the next part of this
exciting journey. I am looking forward to helping my successor in this
transition so that their work in the Relais family will start with optimal
efficiency,” says Arni Ekholm, CEO of Relais Group.
