Waste Plastic Upcycling (Euronext Growth Oslo: WPU) a Danish company focused on upcycling plastic waste using pyrolysis technology to upcycled plastic oil that may be used as full range naphtha or may be distilled to kerosene/jet fuel is pleased to provide an operations update.
Baltic Control Certification A/S has certified that WASTE PLASTIC UPCYCLING - TRADING ApS - a fully owned subsidiary of WPU - complies with the requirements of the certification system ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) and consequently issued ISCC-PLUS-Certificate number: 105202022 to WASTE PLASTIC UPCYCLING - TRADING ApS.
ISCC stands for International Sustainability and Carbon Certification. Certification under the ISCC standard assures a fully transparent and deforestation-free supply chain and the protection of land with high biodiversity value and high carbon stock. The ISCC standard promotes human, labour and land rights, as well as good management practices.
Furthermore, ISCC provides the methodology, rules and guidelines for calculating and verifying greenhouse gas emissions and emission reductions. ISCC is a leading globally applicable sustainability certification system and covers all sustainable feedstocks.
All products sold by the WPU facilities is sold through Waste Plastic Upcycling – Trading ApS. The certification is a continuation of the previous ISCC Plus certification.
