Wrexham Lease Agreement and Related Party Transaction
Majestic Corporation Plc (AQSE:MCJ / OTCQB:MCJCF), a sustainable circular economy solutions provider specialising in recycling and non-ferrous metals, is delighted to provide an update on the planned launch of a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Wrexham, Wales.
The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Telecycle Europe Limited, has entered into a Lease Agreement at Unit 1, Redwither Business Park, First Avenue, Wrexham, with Wrexham Holdings Limited, a company wholly owned by Peter Lai, Chairman and CEO of Majestic, for £130,000 per annum for a five-year term.
The facility enables the Company to meet the growing demand for processing e-waste, battery materials, IT infrastructure, and solar renewables across the UK and Europe, supported by Majestic's existing 4,000 sq. ft. site in Deeside, Wales.
Related Party Transaction
As Peter Lai is a Director and 71.85% shareholder of Majestic, as well as a Director and the sole shareholder of Wrexham Holdings Limited, this is considered a related party transaction under the Aquis Growth Market Rulebook. Having exercised reasonable care, skill and diligence, the Directors of Majestic (excluding Peter Lai) deem the terms of the Lease Agreement to be fair and reasonable as far shareholders are concerned.
