April 25, 2018 - Asetek today received confirmation of an award from new OEM
partner Quanta Computer of Taoyuan, Taiwan, for the National Center for High
-Performance Computing (NCHC) in Hsinchu. The new cluster will focus on
artificial intelligence (AI), and will be the largest supercomputer in Taiwan
when commissioned.
The award has a value of approximately USD 500,000 with delivery schedule to be
confirmed.

This will be the second Asetek cluster installed at NCHC. The first installation
was ranked no. 95 on the Top 500-list of the largest supercomputers in November
of last year.
