Ledertech produces and sells leatherboard material, which is used for the production of various products in the leather industry. Furthermore there are various applications for leatherboard in the automotive industry, the packaging material sector and in the building equipment area. Exporting more than 90% of its sales Ledertech is one of the leading global suppliers of leatherboard. The focus of Ledertech lies on high quality material that provides its customers with significant cost savings in the production process. For many decades Ledertech has been family owned. After the sale of the adhesives-plant Bopfingen to Henkel AG & Co KGaA in 1995 and the following corporate integration Peter Detzner (76) maintained the responsibility for the Ledertech activities.
