Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— RENK AG startet Aktienrückkaufprogramm Der Vorstand der RENK AG hat mit Zustimmung des Aufsichtsrats beschlossen, ab 08.11.2000 von der ihm von der Hauptversammlung am 07.11.2000 erteilten Ermächtigung zum Erwerb eigener Aktien Gebrauch zu machen. Zunächst sollen über die Börse Aktien bis zu einem Anteil von höchstens 5 % des derzeitigen Grundkapitals, d.h. insgesamt bis zu 350.000 Aktien, erworben werden. Der Erwerbspreis je Aktie wird den durchschnittlichen Einheitskurs der RENK AG Aktie im Amtlichen Handel an der Bayerischen Börse an den jeweils fünf vorangehenden Börsentagen um nicht mehr als 10% über- bzw. unterschreiten. Der nächsten Hauptversammlung, die wegen des Rumpfgeschäftsjahres bereits am 17.05.2001 stattfinden wird, soll über die bis dahin erzielten Ergebnisse und eine eventuelle Fortsetzung des Rückkaufprogramms berichtet werden. RENK AG launches share repurchase program The executive board of RENK AG has decided, with the approval of the company’s supervisory board, to make use of the authorization to repurchase proprietary shares. This authorization was granted by the company’s annual general assembly of shareholders, meeting on November 7, 2000. First, this will take the form of repurchasing, on stock exchanges, of up to 5% of the company’s capital stock, i.e. up to 350,000 shares. The price paid for these shares is not to vary more than 10% from the average of the daily fixed quote in official trading on the Bavarian Stock Exchange during the preceding five days of business. The next annual general assembly of shareholders, due to the rescheduled company’s financial year, will be already held on May 17, 2001.
