The postponement of various major orders pushed order intake down by 18 percent to EUR108 million although very tall order backlogs kept sales at the year-earlier level of EUR110 million. EBT reached EUR5 million. RENK is confident of a rebound in orders in the latter half of 2003 and expects for 2003 pre-tax earnings (EBT) somewhat short of the year- earlier EUR19 million.
