Elbit Systems announced today that the financial reports for the year ended December 31, 2004, that were published on March 15, 2005 on the MAGNA, contained inadvertent omission of words. 1. Paragraph X under note 2 to the Consolidate Financial Statement - indicate that diluted net earning per share as reported for the year ended December 31, 2004 is $1.33 and the pro forma basic net earning per share is $1.29. Elbit Systems hereby amends the foregoing to provide that the diluted net earning per share as reported for the year ended December 31, 2004 is $1.29 and the pro forma basic net earning per share is $1.33. 2. In the Management's Report, paragraph four under the "Financial Highlights" chapter provides that the Company's backlog increased by 23% as of December 31, 2004 compared to the Company's backlog as of December 31, 2003. Elbit Systems hereby amends the foregoing to provide that the Company's backlog increased by 22.9% as of December 31, 2004 compared to the Company's backlog as of December 31, 2003. 3. In the Management's Report, the table under the "Non-U.S. GAAP Disclosure" chapter provides that the "Net earnings including phantom plan effect". Elbit Systems hereby amends the foregoing to provide that the "Net earnings including option plan effect". The financial reports that were previously published on the EDGAR electronic reporting site and on Elbit Systems' web site, on March 15, 2005 were correct and remain unchanged.
