Re: A ruling by the Tel Aviv District Court approving a consensual motion to remove a petition to approve a class action lawsuit against The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. - immediate reportThe Company is announcing that on 27 February, 2023, the Tel Aviv District Court issued a ruling approving a consensual motion to remove the plaintiffs from a petition to approve the class action lawsuit that was filed against a subsidiary of the Company, The Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. (hereinafter: “The Phoenix Insurance”), and against 12 other insurance companies (hereafter collectively: “the defendants”) and that was filed on the argument that the defendants must reimburse premiums they overcharged policyholders of motor and home insurance, due to a significant decrease in the risk they are exposed to as a result of the restrictions imposed following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to a decline in mileage traveled and a significant decline in bodily harm and damage to property (see the detailed report dated 23 April, 2020 (reference number 2020-01-041259) and Note 7A(30) to the Company's Financial Statements dated 30 September, 2022, which were published on 30 November, 2022 (reference number 2022-01-115344)).This concludes the proceedings. It should be noted that there is a pending petition filed against The Phoenix Insurance (and against other insurance companies) for approval of a similar class action in relation to motor car insurance (see details in the Immediate Report dated 21 April, 2020 (reference number 2020-01-040227) and in Note 7A(29) to the Company's Financial Statements dated 30 September, 2022, which were published on 30 November, 2022 (reference number 2022-01-115344). false
