The subject of the Lawsuit is the claim that in comprehensive car insurance, in the event of a total loss as defined in the insurance policy, Phoenix Insurance allegedly deducts from the vehicle's value certain reducing variables (variables that are not unequivocal, i.e., those not included in the detailed tables in the "Yitzhak Levy" price list), thereby violating the provisions of the law and the insurance contract. it is claimed that the total damage to all members of the group cannot be estimated at this stage, but the plaintiff noted that the estimated damage exceeds NIS 2.5 million.The plaintiff noted that a similar request for certification of a class action is pending against another insurance company. At this stage, Phoenix Insurance is studying the details of the Lawsuit, and therefore it is not possible to assess the chances of its certification as a class action, and if certified, it is not possible to assess the chances of its success. false
