Description	BINA PURI HOLDINGS BHD ("BPHB" OR "THE COMPANY") - WINDING-UP PETITION SERVED ON ASCOTVILLE DEVELOPMENT SDN BHD, A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANY
The Board of Directors of BPHB wishes to announce that Ascotville Development Sdn. Bhd. ("ADSB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 8 December 2025 received a Winding-Up Petition dated 24 November 2025 in the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak at Kota Kinabalu served by JV Champion Sdn. Bhd. (“the Petitioner”) (“the Petition”). The Petitioner has initiated the Petition for the alleged sum of RM764,437.50. ADSB is currently seeking legal advice and will take all necessary steps to oppose and defend against the Petition. ADSB is not a major subsidiary of the Company as defined under Chapter 1 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. There will be no immediate financial and operational impact and no expected loss to the Group arising from the Petition. The date of hearing for the Petition has been fixed on 6 January 2026. Any material development in this matter will be announced in due course. This announcement is dated 9 December 2025.
