(Unless stated otherwise, abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Company’s announcements dated 20 August 2025 and 22 August 2025 in relation to the Offer, the offer document in relation to the Offer dated 10 September 2025 (“Offer Document”), the independent advice circular in relation to the Offer dated 22 September 2025 (“IAC”), the Non-Compliance with Public Shareholding Spread Pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements dated 29 September 2025 and the Closing Date dated 1 October 2025 (“Earlier Announcements”).
We refer to the Earlier Announcements, the Offer Document and the IAC and the Announcement dated 2 October 2025.
The Board of EHB wishes to inform that the application for an extension of time of 6 months to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad to rectify the shortfall in the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement is from 26 September 2025 to 25 March 2026.
Based on the Notices dated 26 September 2025 from the Offeror and Ultimate Offeror (“Notices”), the Offeror's shareholding is 36,114,200, representing 81.30%. Further based on the Press Notice dated 1 October 2025 issued by AmInvestment Bank Berhad (“Press Notice”), Offeror’s shareholding is 84.11%.
Based on the Notices dated 26 September 2025, the number of shares held by public shareholders as at 26 September 2025 is 8,307,500, representing 18.70%. Further based on the Press Notice, the number of shares held by public shareholders as at 1 October 2025 is 7,058,900, representing 15.89%.
Based on the ROD as at 26 September 2025, the number of public security holders is 894.
