The Board of Directors of Ireka Corporation Berhad (“ICB” or “the Group”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shoraka Construction Sdn Bhd (“SCSB”), has on 19 November 2025 accepted a Letter of Award (“LOA”) from ANS Development Sdn Bhd for the sub-contract works relating to the “Projek Pembinaan Klinik Kesihatan (Jenis 3) Dengan Kuarters Integrasi Mak Mandin, Pulau Pinang” (“the Project”). The total contract value for the Project is Ringgit Malaysia Fifteen Million Five Hundred Thousand (RM15,500,000.00).
In accordance with the LOA, the Project shall commence on 10 November 2025 and is scheduled to be completed on 21 August 2028.
The acceptance of the LOA is in the ordinary course of business for SCSB and will strengthen the Group’s existing order book. The Project is expected to contribute a stable revenue stream to the ICB Group over the duration of the Project.
The Board is of the opinion that the LOA and the implementation of the Project are expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of ICB and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 30 June 2026, and subsequently throughout the duration of the Project.
The Board does not foresee any significant risk factors other than the normal operational risks associated with undertaking a construction project of this nature. None of the directors and/or substantial shareholders of the Group or person connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the LOA.
Further announcements will be made upon any material developments regarding this matter, in accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirement of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
