The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— CANCOM IT Systeme AG takes over systems integration specialist, ECS ComputerPartner GmbH Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 30 December 2004 – With effect from 1 January 2005, CANCOM IT Systeme AG will acquire all shares in the Munich-based systems integration company, ECS ComputerPartner GmbH. ECS ComputerPartner GmbH is a company specialising in IT services and solutions. It employs 89 staff at its locations in Munich and Kempten, and is expected to report sales of around EUR 23 million in the current financial year. This acquisition will effectively boost CANCOM’s systems integration business and enable the company to build up a much broader presence in the PC and IT services market. The experienced management team of ECS ComputerPartner GmbH, Munich, will remain with the company, and ensure that its business operations continue smoothly. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The contract of acquisition has been concluded subject to the approval of the companies’ supervisory boards.
