CANCOM SE: half-year figures confirm successful business development and growth path Revenues and earnings for the first half of 2016 with high y-o-y increase

Munich, Germany, 10 August 2016 – CANCOM Group continues growth after the first six months of the current financial year. Group revenues grew by 14.3 percent compared to the previous year up to Euro 492.2 million. Gross profit for the group improved from Euro 130.6 million in the first half of 2015 to Euro 142.9 million. Group EBITDA and Group EBIT showed considerable double-digit growth rates of 39.7 percent respectively 75.2 percent. “We believe, that focusing and expanding our business activities in the field of higher quality services and consulting is important and the right way for future success”, says Klaus Weinmann, chairman of the Executive board of CANCOM SE. Earnings per share from continuing operations for the first half of the current financial year are Euro 0.88 compared to Euro 0.42 in 2015, that is an increase of more than 100 percent. In the second quarter of 2016, CANCOM achieved Group revenues of Euro 257.5 million after Euro 232.2 million in the same period of the previous year. Group EBITDA grew by 30.8 percent up to Euro 17.0 million. In total, CANCOM Group reports earnings per share from continuing operations for the second quarter of 2016 of Euro 0.45 compared to Euro 0,20 Euro in q2/2015. As at 30 June 2016, CANCOM Group shows a solid balance sheet with a strong equity ratio of 55.7 percent and thus is well positioned for further growth.
