The Board of Directors of NEXG wishes to announce that the Company has on 11 March 2026 resolved to reinstate the executive powers and functions of its Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Haji Abu Hanifah bin Noordin (“Datuk Hanifah”), with immediate effect. The Board had previously announced on 5 March 2026 the temporary suspension of the executive powers and functions of Datuk Hanifah as an administrative measure to allow an ongoing review to proceed in a transparent, independent, and orderly manner. The reinstatement follows further deliberation by the Board and after taking into consideration the recent progress of the review process. The Board remains committed to upholding strong corporate governance, accountability, and transparency, and will continue to ensure that the ongoing review process is conducted in accordance with the Company’s governance procedures and standard operating practices. This announcement is dated 11 March 2026.
