Soo Choon Siong is a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, with over 29 years of progressive finance leadership experience. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and began his career as an audit assistant at KPMG before moving into industry.

His career covers audit and assurance, property development, manufacturing, industrial automation, biopharmaceuticals, construction, and hospitality. He has held head of finance roles across a range of companies, including publicly listed entities in Malaysia and Singapore, where he managed regulatory and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions. He currently serves as Finance Director of a property development and construction group.

His expertise spans treasury, debt capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and incentives, investor relations, and corporate governance. He has also overseen group consolidation and reporting, annual budgeting, and internal controls.
