Mutual Termination of the Transaction for a Business Combination with Capricorn Energy PLC ("Capricorn")
Further to NewMed Energy - Limited Partnership's ("NewMed") press release of January 15, 2023, with respect to a business combination transaction with Capricorn Energy PLC ("Capricorn" and the "Transaction", respectively), NewMed notes that, following the recent developments at Capricorn, including the fundamental change in the composition of Capricorn's board and senior management, that NewMed and Capricorn have mutually agreed to terminate the Transaction with immediate effect.
