RHB Bank is pleased to announce that it had on 28 November 2025 completed its T2 Notes issuance of RM500.0 million in nominal value under the Note Programme. The T2 Notes, rated AA2 / Stable by RAM Rating Services Berhad, were issued under 2 tranches comprising: (i) RM375.0 million with a tenure of ten non-callable five (10NC5) years with a fixed coupon rate of 3.83% per annum; and (ii) RM125.0 million with a tenure of twelve non-callable seven (12NC7) years with a fixed coupon rate of 3.93% per annum. The T2 Notes will have an optional redemption call option on the fifth (5th) and seventh (7th) anniversaries of the issue date (with the first optional redemption dates on 28 November 2030 and 26 November 2032), respectively, and on any coupon payment date thereafter. Proceeds raised from the T2 Notes will be utilised to finance the working capital of RHB Bank and its subsidiaries, general banking purposes and/or refinancing of the outstanding borrowings or capital instruments of RHB Bank and its subsidiaries. The RM500.0 million T2 Notes will qualify as Tier 2 capital of RHB Bank in accordance with Bank Negara Malaysia’s policy document on Capital Adequacy Framework (Capital Components) issued on 14 June 2024.
