Description	TANCO HOLDINGS BERHAD ("TANCO" OR THE "COMPANY") - STATUS UPDATE ON MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN MIDPORTS HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. AND COSCO SHIPPING PORTS LIMITED ("MOU")
[Unless otherwise stated or redefined, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as those previously defined in the Company’s announcements dated 6 December 2024, 27 February 2025, 30 May 2025, 29 August 2025 and 27 November 2025 in relation to the MOU to set out the potential cooperation for the operations and management of MHSB’s proposed Smart AI Container Port project at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (“Port Project”)(“Announcements”).] Further to the Announcements, the Board of Directors of the Company wishes to provide the following updates: (i) MHSB had on 26 December 2025 entered into the Midport Smart AI Container Terminal Entrusted Operational Management Agreement (“Agreement”) with Ocean Bridge International Ports Management Co., Ltd. (“OBIPM”) with regard to proposed development of a “Smart AI Container Port” in Dickson Bay, District of Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (“the Project”). Further details on the Agreement are set out in the Company’s announcement dated 26 December 2025. Following the execution of the Agreement, the MOU has been superseded. This announcement is dated 26 February 2026.
