AT&S receivables from BenQ Mobile Germany amounts to EUR 1 Million and are covered by insurance

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— Following today’s announcement by BenQ Mobile that they may file for insolvency in Germany, AT&S Austria Technologie und Systemtechnik AG informs that the receivables from BenQ Mobile Germany amounts to EUR 1 Million and are covered by an insurance. In the first quarter 06/07 BenQ Mobile made roughly 3% of total sales of the AT&S Group, roughly half of it with Asian and half with German Plants. From today’s point of view AT&S does not anticipate any need for additional write off out of this potential insolvency and is looking forward to a continued supplier relationship with the BenQ group.
