Carl Zeiss Meditec achieves double-digit revenue growth in Q1 2014/15
Jena, 05 January 2015: Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ISIN: DE0005313704) has
achieved revenue of approximately EUR 240 million in Q1 2014/15, based on
preliminary data. This corresponds to growth of around 13% over the
previous year. Currency effects, particularly from the EUR/USD exchange
rate, have contributed to this result. Adjusted for currency and
acquisition effects the revenue increase amounts to approximately 8% over
the previous year.
Earnings before Interest & Taxes (EBIT) for Q1 2014/15 are expected to be
above the previous year's value of EUR 26.5 million.
