EVN AG (ISIN: AT0000741053; EVN) was informed on December 20, 2013 that
EnBW Trust e.V., a registered association with its corporate seat in
Karlsruhe, Durlacher Allee 93, 76131 Karlsruhe, registered in the register
of associations of the local court of Mannheim under VR 3737(EnBW Trust),
has concluded a trust arrangement in the course of a so called CTA-Model
(Contractual Trust Agreement) with EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, with
its corporate seat in Karlsruhe, Germany, and its business address at
Durlacher Allee 93, 76131 Karlsruhe, registered in the commercial register
of the local court of Mannheim under HRB 107956 (EnBW), pursuant to which
EnBW entered into a Share-Transfer-Agreement with EnBW Trust and
transferred, on a fiduciary basis, 58.406.180 non-par value bearer shares
in EVN, which equals 58.406.180 voting rights in EVN (i.e. 32,47%), to EnBW
Trust. EnBW Trust thereby exceeded the thresholds of 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 %,
25 % and 30 %, but not 35% of the voting rights in EVN.
