EVN AG: EVN releases treasury shares to employees

On 13 May 2016 EVN AG announced the reclassification of up to 306,000 treasury shares for transfer to the employees of the company and specified subsidiaries during the third calendar quarter.

A total of 133,050 shares, representing 0.07% of the current share capital of EVN AG, were transferred to employees on 4 August 2016. The issue of shares to employees was concluded and terminated with this transfer. The transferred treasury shares are ordinary zero-par value bearer shares of EVN AG. The equivalent value per share represents (i) 90% of the average daily closing prices in calendar weeks 27 to 30 in 2016 (average price in calendar weeks 27 to 30: EUR 10.263) for 129,450 transferred shares and (ii) the daily closing price on 4 August 2016 (closing price: EUR 10.400) for 3,600 transferred shares.

EVN AG now holds 2,036,069 treasury shares, which together represent 1.13% of the company’s share capital.
