Operating profit rose by 12.4% to ATS 624 million (EUR 45.4 mill.). Operating income rose by 6.0%, offset by an increase of 3.7% in operating expenses. Net profit for the period grew by 12.7% to ATS 439 million (EUR 31.9 mill.). These record results were announced by Members of the Management Board of Flughafen Wien AG, Herbert Kaufmann, Gerhard Schmid und Kurt Waniek, on Wednesday 30th August at a press conference in Vienna.
