COMPTEL CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE, 8 JANUARY 2008 AT 8.30AM
Comptel shifts its organisation closer to the customers
Comptel restructures its organisation by uniting its sales and customer services
into business areas and by centralising four separate product units in one. The
business will be supported by Common Operations, Administration and HR units.
Comptel Group Executive Board comprises of the following persons: Sami Erviö,
President and CEO, Harri Palviainen and Arnhild Schia, Business Area Executives
to whom the four geographical areas will be reporting, Simo Sääskilahti,
responsible for Products and Solutions, Markku Järvenpää, responsible for Common
Operations Support, Veli Matti Salmenkylä, responsible for Administration, and
Niina Pesonen responsible for Human Resources. The new organisation will be
effective immediately.
”The target of the new organisation is to improve business management by
increasing decision making close to customers and to strengthen the sales of
end-to-end solutions. We see growing demand for software solutions which improve
innovation of new products and reduce time-to-market. By offering Dynamic OSS
(Operations Support Systems) we can pave the way for life-style driven
customised service packages”, says Sami Erviö, CEO and President of Comptel.
In financial reporting, Comptel's segment division remains the same.
